This Full Body At Home Cozy Sock Workout was a collaboration between Lynne and I. Our creativity seems to flow better when we’re together and this workout was inspired by our conversation earlier in the week where we had been reading about the ridiculously high prices and lack of exercise equipment available online.
It seems that almost everyone’s first move when the quarantine came into effect was to buy home workout equipment. While it’s great news that everyone wants to stay fit, it’s not such good news for those who don’t have it in their budget to pay the current market price. So, here’s a workout you can do with just a pair of soft, cozy socks… and although it may sound soft and relaxing, trust me, its anything but!
Although we are using gliders in our videos below, you can just use a pair of soft socks (simply slide them over your feet or your hands. You can also use a couple of pieces of cut up carpet instead (turn them carpet side down). Make sure to warm up for 5-7 minutes before beginning this workout, then set up on a slippery floor (hardwood works great) and follow along with us in Round 1. Repeat 2-3 times before moving on to the subsequent round.
