I love drinking this pineapple mint smoothie on a hot summer afternoon when I have completed my workout for the day and I feel the need to re hydrate. Refreshing and reinvigorating, this smoothie is the perfect summer drink. The banana provides potassium, which is one of the main electrolytes your body needs to balance fluid levels in your body, the kale adds a nice boost of fibre, the pineapple contains bromelain, which is great for energizing tired muscles and fighting inflammation and the mint is wonderful for soothing the digestive system and fighting fatigue. Plus, it tastes so damn good that you’ll drink it for the taste alone! Ingredients
- ½ c filtered water
- 2 c frozen pineapple
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 c kale
- 6 mint leaves
- juice from ½ lime
- 1/2 inch piece of ginger (optional)

- Combine all ingredients together in a blender and enjoy!
