I have to be honest, I have never loved steak…until now. I guess the trick is in the marinade because I could eat this every night! I also love that it pairs so well with the Cauliflower Puree and Garlic and Bacon Green Beans that I posted on my blog recently. This steak also works for breakfast when paired with eggs or for lunch served atop a salad or a veggie bowl!
Marinated Flank Steak

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/8 cup tamari sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced into strips
Instructions
1. Whisk together the first seven ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
2. Add the steak to the bowl, cover, place in the fridge and marinate the steak for about an hour.
3. Remove steak from the marinade and add to a heated pan.
4. Pan fry for about 4 mins per side or until steak is only slightly pink inside or done to your liking.
