The zucchini provides you with vitamins A, B and C, which are great for boosting the immune system and providing us with lots of energy. It also has loads of fibre which is great for balancing blood sugar levels and keeping us full. The addition of Brazil nuts ensures we get our daily dose of selenium, which is critical for the proper workings of our master antioxidant glutathione, which protects us from free radical damage. The banana and dates provide quick energy and are great for electrolyte balance. The raw cacao powder is great for boosting your overall antioxidant, mood and energy levels as well.
As if all of that weren’t enough, the greens powder is also very alkalizing, due to the high mineral content and the addition of adaptogenic herbs, helps to support the body during times of stress. Yet, even with all of these beneficial ingredients, the smoothie still tastes like pure chocolate….I even dare you to test it on your kids! So you don’t have to wait any longer, I present to you, the Chocolate Bliss Smoothie.
